Civil Design Engineer - EIT
Position: Civil Design Engineer – EIT

We are seeking an experienced Civil Design Engineer – EIT to join our team of talented engineer professionals and provide planning and design services on a wide range of projects.
What will you be doing?
This position will be a key member of the engineering team. Duties include:
- Prepare site plans
- Provide design services (septic, driveways, sanitary sewer, stormwater management, etc.)
- Complete soils analysis
- Prepare project technical specifications
- Prepare cost estimates
- Public bid administration
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies
What skills will the ideal candidate have to be successful?
This position will require the following skillsets and experience:
- Minimum five (5) years of related municipal/site/civil land development experience
- BS in Civil Engineering
- EIT is required
- NJ P.E. license preferred
- NJ CME a plus
- Knowledge of local, county, and state land use regulations, guidelines, and standards
- Technical proficiency in site grading design, stormwater management, and hydraulic and hydrologic analysis
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D

This position is for a seasoned engineer who will perform various planning and design services and manage team activities on a wide range of products.
What will you be doing?
This position will be a key member of the Finelli Consulting Engineers team. Duties include:
- Develop, review and oversee completion of site plan designs
- Review, evaluate, and test septic systems and soils
- Prepare project technical specifications
- Interact, support and collaborate with clientele
- Prepare cost estimates
- Monitor and manage design team activities
- Oversee administration of public bids
- Manage external coordination with regulatory agencies
What skills will the ideal candidate have to be successful?
This position will require the following skillsets and experience:
- Minimum 10-15 years of related municipal/site/civil land development experience
- BS in Civil Engineering
- New Jersey Professional Engineering (P.E.) license
- Pennsylvania P.E. license a plus
- NJ CME certification, a plus
- Solid knowledge of local, county, and state land use regulations, guidelines and standards
- Highly proficient in site grading design, stormwater management, and hydraulic and hydrologic analysis
- Highly proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D

Professional Land Surveyor
Position: Professional Land Surveyor
Location: Washington, NJ

FCE is a respected, multi-discipline consulting firm specializing in civil and municipal engineering, land surveying, land use planning, environmental permitting, and construction services in both public and private sectors. This position is for an energetic surveyor to lead the survey crew and will be responsible for the survey work on projects for private and public sector clients.
What will you be doing?
This position will be a key member of the Finelli Consulting Engineers team. Duties include:
- Perform construction stake out and calculations, boundary, ALTA and topo surveys
- Coordinate project requirements with team members
- Manage survey projects, maintain project budgets
- Prepare preliminary and final plats, legal descriptions, exhibits.
What skills will the ideal candidate have to be successful?
This position will require the following skillsets and experience:
- Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience
- Professional Survey Licensure required or the ability to obtain licensure within six months
- Proficiency with GPS and Total Station
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Ability to manage/direct field crew
- Ability to prioritize and multitask with respect to projects, CAD/computer standards, etc.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft products (Explorer, Word, Excel Outlook)
- Ability to work as a team player
- Possess organizational and communication skills.
